Mornings begin with espresso on the terrace, illuminated by the sun rising over the sea, and the sound of someone's nonna sweeping the street. Afternoons are for the beach, a short walk down a mountain path lined with lemon trees and wild artichokes. Evenings are long and unhurried, smell like garlic and good olive oil. Late nights end with exquisite pastries and gelato.

Hidden behind a gate wrapped in jasmine, Giardino opens onto a private courtyard that catches the morning sun before easing into shade beneath an old lemon tree by evening. It's the quietest of the three — a place for long breakfasts, afternoon naps, and evenings at the porch table with a bottle of local wine.

True to its name, Sole catches the sun from morning until well past lunch. A bunk room makes it the natural choice for families, and the balcony — with its two lounge chairs — is the best seat in the house for watching the light change over the water.
